"As long as you don't give us any reason to cause trouble, you're safe!" Tali snapped at the wood elf captain, as she was constantly being pushed forward by the patrol of wood elves.

Falling into step behind the elves was Xandra, still in her wolf form. Camouflaged and hidden in the shadowy undergrowth, she watched them with weary keen eyes, wondering exactly what these elves had in store for Eon and Tali.

The wood elf captain just glared at Tali and ignored her, as he had his men hush her forward and drag Eon along. After a short walk, he abruptly stopped walking and looked around.

''Wait, I think I hear something... I'll be right back.'' he said as he walked into a bush with a few of his men.

After a few minutes, the wood elf captain returned with one of his guards carrying Xandra in a funny yet awkward position, so she could not bite.

''This wolf seemed to be following us. Is this your pet or something?'' asked the wood elf captain to Tali.

Xandra felt like a complete idiot as she loosely hung from the wood elves arms. The damned elf had just come along and picked her up. And now he was presenting her to Tali like some type of cute little puppy. She whined softly, both in embarrassment and begging someone to get her out of his hands.

''This wolf seemed to be following us. Is this your pet or something?''

"I think that's the stray from Fairhills, isn't it? What the hell did you follow us for?", Tali asked no one but the wolf, "Can't say I've always wanted a pet wolf... but whatever. She can follow us for now.. so long as you elves don't have an issue with it."

This time Tali got closer to the black wolf, "If you come begging for my scraps you can be sure I won't give you any, little beggar. Bother Eon for his when he's awake."

''Hmm....'' The wood elf captain glanced suspiciously at Xandra, who just whined like a puppy.

''Keep the mutt under strict guard as well, because I don't trust it. If only because it seems close to those mortals.'' he said.

The wood elves continued their way to Gorlia, with the guard carrying Xandra along. Eon was still being dragged, as his situation hasn't gotten any better. And Tali was escorted forward with a few tough elf guards next to her.

Xandra could tell that this elf guard had not intentions of letting her go anytime soon. Inwardly huffing, she accepted her fate and awkwardly swayed from side to side as the elf was no better off than her.

A few elves hovered around Tali, guarding her a lot more heavily than Eon who was still unconscious, or the stray black wolf that had decided to join their venture to a grand looking Elven city, nestled in the deep of the woods, hidden among the trees.

After a while they came to a beautiful elven city composed of many tree buildings and houses that were connected through bridges. A wall of wood and earth offered protection against invaders. At least, those that even managed to get this close. The guards entered through the gates with everyone and led them to Lord Almond's dwelling, to the hall, where none other than Xaron was waiting for them.

''Good to see you both again, Tali and Xandra.'' Xaron said with a charming smile. He then turned to Eon, who seemd to be in critical condition.

''Oh dear, poor Eon doesn't look very well now, does he?'' he said, without showing too much concern.

The elven city was mesmerizing and breath taking. Tali had to stop dead in her tracks to take in the marvelous sites, it's pointy-earred natives adorned in nature-esque garbs and exotic scents and smells that were overwhelming her senses. They were lead along a complex network of web-like bridges and through towers until they came into a hall of sorts, a familiar face welcoming them with a charming smile.

''Good to see you both again, Tali and Xandra.''

"You.. you're the elf who brought me here.. stole me right out of my life! I remember your smug face." Tali yelled with ferocity, disregarding his mentioning of Xandra, for the time being.

''Oh dear, poor Eon doesn't look very well now, does he?''

"Quit the bullshit, if not for me and his own sheer will, he would be dead from necrosis. So let's get past all these trivial niceties and cut to the chase. We need answers and Eon requires help."

Meanwhile, Xandra had finally been placed down on her own four legs, still hobbling from her recent injuries with the shadow night and joined the rest of the group in this elven hall. She stuck towards the back, hoping to go unseen by these strange creatures. The plan was snuffed out though for as soon as she heard her name, she wound her way around the elves and went to come side to side with Tali, equally in shock and confusion. She remembered this man, he'd appeared before her in what she thought was a dream and disappeared just as quick, only to show himself now.

''Aénar, not elf.'' Xaron sighed. ''But very well then, I think Almond's daughter can fix him?''

''I'm on it, master Xaron.'' said Avistra as she kneeled down next to Eon and examined his shoulder.

''Holy [censored], he is suffering from necro-sickness. This is not a medical condition we're dealing it, but Black Magic.'' she said.

''That's okay, just take your time. I know you can do it, my precious she-elf.'' Xaron said in a flattering way.

Avistra gathered a spell book and a potion containing a magical purifying liquid, and started to work on Eon's condition.

"Aenar... elf.. not that I'm really concerned with your race. I'm more concerned with getting some answers from you and getting him back on his feet." Tali pointed back to Eon as Avistra worked precariously on his shoulder, tending to the necrosis.

"Now I know you came to me before back at my home in Skyrim. You summoned me into this world. Aveloth, I believe? But why? What purpose am I serving here? I met one of you earlier in my travels, at some crumbling orc camp. He told me and my injured companion here that we're supposed to travel to the land of Light? For what? And if you care to know, Eon received that necrosis from a shadow knight by the name of Vuldred. Tell me, why does he want us.. or more specifically.. him?"

''Sorry, some secrets are better left untold. For now, that is.'' Xaron answered.

''But, shouldn't you be at least grateful that I plucked you out of your boring existence in Skyrim and actually gave you a purpose in this world? Come on, I know you like it here.'' Xaron said with a smirk on his face. ''I don't know much about your world, aside from the fact that chickens seem to be valued as sacred deities of some sort. Because harming one is enough of a valid reason for the locals to engage a man-hunt and brutally murder you.''

Avistra finished curing Eon's wound after a while, and slowly but surely the strange black substance disappeared.

''He should be fine, hopefully. I would advise him to take it easy for a while, because the effects of black magic take a while before they fully fade away, and it could be still potentially dangerous even after the wound is healed.'' she said.
