Today was such an emotional day. I'm not used to dealing with so many things at the same time.

Weird, everything's been hitting the fan for me today, too. Today I found out that disability is cutting off my supplemental income, my mom has a jury duty summons that she's going to have to show up in person for, and my dad has cancer in his throat. Man, today is just awful

Just found out a good friend of mine has been arrested. It was over something she definitely should have been arrested for, but still.

This day, man. How much bad news can you possibly cram into a day?

I really miss my grandma. It was so hard finding out I had cancer a year after she died. It's hard not having her here...

This is one of those times where I'm thankful I have sleeping pills. I need them to help me pass out into a blissful sleep. Otherwise, I'm unable to sleep because I cannot stop crying. I envy those who can cry themselves to sleep; I find it impossible to do because I do not sleep easily if my nose is stuffed up and when I cry, it stuffs up constantly and I have to keep blowing it.

Sorry for the depressing post. I don't usually feel this sad. My emotions have been all over the place as of late, it seems.

Partner: No there were only 3 male lions. Mufasa, Scar and Simba.

Partner: Shhh! That film never happened.

I'm glad I'm able to watch Aida on YouTube. I used to listen to the songs all the time in middle school. I was never able to understand a lot of the details of the story, though. Now I finally am.

I wonder what the songs of Simba's Pride would have been like had Tim Rice and Elton John written them. There are quite a few parallels between Aida and SP.

These actor-singers are good, but I wish I was watching Heather Headley and Adam Pascal.

Adam Pascal makes me think of Rent, which makes me think of Idina Menzel. Now I want Idina Menzel to sing a song for The Lion Guard for some reason.

Well this was an interesting train of thought...
