Where are Shenzi, Banzai and Ed?

From what I've heard they're not in this one, which disapoints me, seeing as they're probably my favorite characters. I know there are hyenas, but not them. Does anyone know if they'll appear at all? Even with different voice actors, I'd love to see them. The Timon and Pumbaa series had the decency to bring them back, so I think this show should.

It's just speculation on my part, they were adults in the original movie. They are likely dead from old age like sarabi and sarafina or just retired characters.

they do not appear in the show. they re-designed the hyenas to make them less scary for the toddler target audience...

Who knows. It's unknown whether they survived the fire at the end of the first film. Would love to see them again, though.

While nothing has been stated by Disney about Shenzi Banzi, and Ed I would not be suprised to see them at some point. or at least have their names mentioned.
