oh thank GOD!!! i'm so glad to hear this! i remember saying in a past thread that i'd be satisfied if these characters were given even a minor background cameo. looks like we'll be getting a little more than just that, so i'm happy!

i do hope they show up in more than one episode in the future. i also hope they don't use these characters in a way that will somehow cause even more plot inconsistencies between TLG and SP....but it's a possibility (as Simbaist has pointed out right above me), so better start preparing for that just in case, lol

Probably not very reliable, but on Wikipedia they have been added to the category of recurring characters, while on The Lion Guard Wiki they are said to only be star characters. My guess is that they will appear in only one episode as important characters, and that the rest will be comeos of different size and length.

I was thrilled to hear this news I doubt Kovu will be far into his teens in the Lion Guard. Jason Marsden voiced Young Shere Khan in Jungle Cubs, so I know he can do a cub's voice.

I am sure that the appearance of Nuka, Vitani, and Kovu is intended to better fit Lion King 2 with The Lion Guard, it would make no sense to confuse things further. I am also rooting for and

I personally believe that Kiara and Kion are littermates, as for the plot holes that creates. Well the fact is that Kion is a retcon. However it looks as if Disney is doing all they can to make him fit, without making universe wide changes, so I can get behind that idea 100%
