One of my cousin's baby boys is at the hospital with suspected meningitis. Really hope it turns out not to be so serious, poor little thing.

So. My Mum said I should be a teacher as I explained to her what my blood results meant in lay man terms. . I have considered it but 1) The only subject I'm reasonably OK in is Biology and Environmental Sciences and 2) I don't want to go back to Uni to do my teaching qualification . Though the headteacher at the school I help out at has said she would support me if I did decide to do that. But I have four years experience of volunteering in a school.....well it's food for thought anyway.

Thanks. The doctors don't think it is meningitis so they've sent little Rory home for the night with some meds and his parents have got to take him back to the hospital for more tests tomorrow.

EDIT: just seen it's probably not. Good. I remember when the doctor told me my baby might have it when she was two days old. Makes you worry.

I kind of wish I could get a bit better rested and discover my grades before doing the graduation, but at least I'm really looking forward to the Middle Earth themed pub tomorrow.
