Kiana knew that Hokori would lose this fight, since it was 3 lions against 1. The lions obviously had underestimated Kiana's strength, because they had left nobody to deal with her. Seeing the lions surround Hokori and their backs turned towards Kiana, Kiana ran up to one and with all her might, took her claws and stabbed them right into the back of one of the lions. All that was heard was a violent ripping sound and a roar of intense pain. Kiana pinned the injured lion, and kept clawing his pelt. After about 5 to 10 seconds of this, the lion was dead. She closed up on a 2nd one, as the other 2 lions had there backs turned to her still, probably because they believed the lion could handle her.

[Zeke]

"Kiana what are you doing?" Hokori roared. "Run!" Hokori managed to pull his paw away from one lion and swiped at the one pinning him, hitting it square in the face. His arm was then bitten and he roared in pain trying to shake it lose. The other lion then pounced back on him, biting at his neck. He could not hold it back, the lion bit down on his neck and held on tight. Hokori felt the strength leaving him and he couldnt breathe, he was struggling to hold onto his life, but he couldnt last much longer

Kiana saw the lion that was gripping Hokori, and lunged at him, doing the same to him as she had the previous lion. This time, she dug her claws inside him ferociously several times, all in different spots. Eventually the lion let go of Hokori, and fell over. He was still breathing. Feeling nothing but rage, she had no sympathy for the lion. She dug her claws way into his neck, and Kiana seemed to have no trouble whatsoever in breaking the lions neck. She looked at Hokori, with a furious look on her face. "Let's lea-" she started to say, but in the middle there was a ripping sound and she jolted forwards a bit. She looked at Hokori with an empty stare. She fell to the ground, revealing the last lion behind her, who had blood-stained claws.

[Zeke]

The second Kiana hit the ground, Hokori rolled to his paws and stood facing the lion. His vision was fading due to his immense loss of blood, but he was too enraged to notice. There was a moment of pause and then the lion lunged at Hokori and took a swipe at his head. He ducked under the flying paw and slashed his claws up the lion's neck, finishing him in one blow. Hokori began to cough up blood as he stumbled over to Kiana who lay on the ground. "Kiana, you still with me?" He asked, crimson leaking from his mouth.

Kiana was panting very fast. She was trying as hard as she possibly could to breath, and not fall asleep, because thats what her body wanted to do, even though she knew it wasn't sleep. She had to fight it.

The lions claws had dug into her side, so the claws could have easily damaged her internal organs. She was bleeding tremendously from the wound, indicating that she might die.

Kiana continued to pant, and her fast breathing was very loud. She was beginning to lose her ability to breath, but fought it. She couldn't say anything to Hokori. She was, most likely, going to die on the spot.

[Zeke]

This is not good Hokori thought to himself. His eyes were slowly starting to fade into blackness and he was getting very lightheaded. Unaware of his body's current condition, Hokori attempted to lift Kiana up onto his back. He heard a loud snap and he collapsed, roaring in agony. The lions had taken their toll on his leg, cracking the very bone inside of it. Hokori still persisted to get Kiana back to pride rock. He grabbed the nape of her neck and began to drag her, while staggering amongst the dirt and grass on three legs. He was unsure if Kiana was still concious or alive, his only concern was getting her back.

I'm not going to make it.. Kiana thought. Hokori was obviously in a bad condition as well, she could slightly hear a roar, even though he was right next to her. The next thing she knew her legs went cold and numb. She couldn't feel them anymore.

[Zeke]

Hokori's vision had almost completely faded now. He was only going by what he thought was the general direction of where Pride Rock was. A roar was heard comming from directly infront of Hokori. The sound of a dozen paws was heard rushing toward him and he gently set Kiana down and growled, preparing to fight.

"Calm down Hokori, we're here to help," A voice said, it was a male voice, but Hokori could not see who the speaker was.

"Who are you!" Hokori snarled and coughed up blood. "Back off!" The shuffling stopped and the voice spoke once more

"Hokori, its Kovu. Don't you recognize me?" Kovu asked, concerened for the lion's well-being

"How do I know its you?" He asked, unaware that it was actually Kovu. His vision was all a blur and he could not make out any of the figures that stood infront of him. He then heard paws moving all around him and swiped at the air around him but then a paw came in contact with his head and everything went black.

Kovu stood over the unconscious lion in a look of worry. It was something he had to do, or else Hokori and Kiana would not make it back. "Lionesses, take these two back to Pride Rock, and hurry, they dont have much time left."

Hokori and Kiana were immediately taken to Pride Rock and treated for their wounds, both still clinging onto life

Mila was awoken by a fellow lioness screaming into her ears. "Mila! Mila! Wake up!" she screamed. Mila and Zeke were both awoken, and looked at the lioness. "Your sister, hurry! Come to the medical den!" She yelled. Mila looked at Zeke, panicked.

[Zeke]

"Lets go." Zeke forgot of his current condition and tried to get up to his paws. He took a step and fell onto the ground. "Ahhh!" Zeke roared in frustration and pain. "You go Mila, I'll wait here."
