I think that she just meant that The Lion Guard will have a broader, deeper, story that what you might expect from a preschool show. At least that is how I took it.

I will have no trouble adjusting to Gabrielle Union as Nala, no she does not sound like Moira Kelly. However her voice fits Nala.
