Dang, these are awesome. Yeah, the Kiara thing was a little bit of a throwoff, but I think it'll be fine. It's kind of like real life, when there's a sibling that is just great at everything and knows what they're going to do, then the other one is just trying to find their place (in the circle of life, of course). So I think they're just trying to make it relatable, this is a children's show, after all.

Thanks for the links, Elton! I absolutely love Kion even more after these recent clips. Kiara's voice sounds a little too deep, IMHO. Rafiki sounds great though!
Some of that concept art looked really neat, too. I'd love to see them close up, I love seeing that sort of stuff.

Me too, zerodix! They're adorable, I hope we get to see more of them and get their names.
Also, looks like we have confirmation that Kiara was wounded in the stampede like someone else suggested. That at least explains why she isn't able to get herself out of this one.
I just keep getting more excited about this movie. For anyone that actually cares by the way, I uploaded some screenshots of this one to the Lion Guard wiki!
