Looks like my graduation date is going to be postponed from December 2017 to May 2018. In the spring I'll take aerodynamics 1, heat transfer 1, and machine design. Then I just need six more technical electives, a mechanical systems lab, probably fluid mechanics 2 and intermediate system controls, as well as the senior design 1 and 2 classes. I was thinking I could fit that into the next two years, but many, if not all those classes aren't offered over the summer.
Well, considering I graduated high school in 2012, that would seem about right. No one completes a 4-year engineering degree in just four years.
That said, students who graduate with engineering degrees have an average salary higher than that of any other major. I do not question why. To all the people who have asked me, or will ask me, when I'm going to get a real job: ...lol.
