Just as I thought. There are only two people in the entire world who care about me, and I can't even contact them right now. I thought this place would be different, but it turns ut I was wrong.

Apparently my sister thinks getting a TLK shirt today (in conjunction with the other TLK stuff I have and the time I spend on MLK) means that I am "a step away from becoming a furry"... despite the fact that I go even more obsessive over TWD, Star Wars, and Spiderman merch... and despite the fact that I've told her most of the time on MLK people talk about other stuff and I'm here more for my friends than TLK.

And even so, not all furries are weirdos... but lots of grown women love animated Disney movies and the merch from them, so I'm not even being weirder than so-called "normal" people.

This is why my family will never know that I write fan fics or that I like MLP. My parents and brother prolly won't mind, but my sister gives me enough hell as is.

I guess I've been lucky, but I've never gotten any crap for being a MLP fan or a furry... even in real life! Only people who I don't care much about have cared. My family and friends just think it's fine. My 78 year old dad's reaction to me watching MLP: "That's cool! Nothing wrong with that."

I don't get it. I'm a huge geek and have never been bullied for it, even at high school. I don't know but I think people just find it "quirky" in me or something instead of lame or pathetic. I've gotten more crap for being in a technically "gay" relationship than anything else.

And enjoying Disney doesn't make you a furry. Unless you're a huge Robin Hood and Zootopia fanatic maybe.
