I'm glad that character dies soon. I hate his stupid face.

So... the graduation ceremony at my university is optional. I do not want to go because I fail to see the point in wasting at least 5 hours of my life when I don't even get my diploma at the ceremony. My parents want me to go. The email is unclear as to whether or not I still get the cap and gown if I don't go. My parents say if I contact the people and they say I don't have to go to get the cap and gown, that they don't mind me not going. I say I'd rather go than talk to a stranger about this stuff in person or via email. My dad gets mad and snaps that he guesses I should go to it then and storms out of the room..

What? He wanted me to go, and now he's mad that I agreed to? :?

I didn't waste my time going to my High School graduation ceremony. Not a big fan of crap like that anyways. Even my fiance and I aren't going to do a "proper wedding".

I prefer just celebrating by spending quality time with family and friends! I just had a small graduation party instead of going to the ceremony. Is that SO bad, or are the expensive overblown festivities more important?

I feel the same way. Plus being in large crowds triggers my anxiety, and it means I have to wear heels or buy flat dress shoes and I just don't see the purpose.

Okay Julie, keep it together. You have no reason to feel alone. Just remember Thursday.
