I just had this wild thought about scars guard.

Interesting thought DGFone, We know that traditionally The Lion Guard is composed of Lions, I assumed mostly male Lions. However since most Lion Prides don't usually have four spare Males, does that mean that The Lion Guard would be composed of mostly Lionesses? Or could it be That The Lion Guard, recruited rouge males, or similar to The Knights of the Round Table. Could The Lion Guard have reached out to other prides for recruits. I doubt how the former Lion Guard was recruited will be touched on that much if at all in the series. I just think it is an interesting thought, if all the Lion Guard is recruited from The Pride Lands. How did they get enough lions to form a team?

I've seen a few theories with Nala's father on the Guard and I have to agree, it would be a really great idea. It would fit really well into the timeline, too.

I think what she meant was that, if we keep thinking up all these good fan theories about the movie/show, and the movie/show possibly doesn't turn out to be good and shoots these theories out of the water, then we might be a bit disappointed about it. This same thing happens to those who watched a critically acclaimed, original movie from long ago, but thinks that they might get the exact same thing from the remake of that movie. (One example was Terminator Genisys, which was great at least to non-critics whom watched it without their nostalgia glasses on unlike the others)

I agree it is fun to theorize but she is absolutely right. The terminator genisys comparison was a near perfect example it's one thing to theorize for fun and another to build expectations that are not likely to be met especially considering the audience this is aimed at what she stated is not only completely true but it's also the reason the whole third movie curse even exists like the terminator example most not all third movies are good movies when taken on their own but expectations are built just way too high for that genuinely good movie to meet.

This definitely applies to Lion Guard I look forward to it because naturally it is the first Lion King thing we've gotten in over ten years however I am also aware of the audience it's being aimed at so it's probably best to manage my expectations. So to GothPrincessKiare all I have to say you make a valid point and I completely agree with you. It's fun to theorize but do not for a moment believe those theories are what's going to actually happen whether you are watching a show or movie doing that only ever leads to disaster or at least disappointment.
