I don't know why, but I've always kind of felt the same way. I mean, I guess I'm okay with 'babe', but 'baby' just... I don't know. I just don't like how it sounds. Luckily my boyfriend agreed with me there so we haven't had any issues with that. :P

As far as 'princess'... well, I think it would depend on the situation and who was calling me that. It can very easily come off as patronizing or sarcastic. Jack has called me 'princess' a few times here and there, but I think if it was anyone else I probably wouldn't appreciate it.

I'm super late to the convo but just thought I'd add that. xD lol

The only time I'd be okay with being called princess is probably if I was dressed up as a Disney princess lol. And yeah, "babe" isn't as bad as "baby". Everytime I see someone on facebook post "ilu 4ever baby" I just shake my head haha!

I feel like "babe" is more sarcastic and negative than "baby," dunno why lol. Although for me it all totally depends on who uses any nickname and how they use it. Pretty much any nickname can be made to be derogatory and unpleasant. For the most part though, for me, if it's someone I feel strongly about and I know they're being genuine, then I don't mind what they decide to call me. :P

I hope this cold or whatever it is goes away soon. :/

Taking another day off tomorrow. Not going to work. Instead going to continue cleaning and work a bit on my resume and perhaps get some job applications out.
