I've been called "princess" by girls and, once, by a boy, but I've always been quick to say how much I dislike it.
I'm okay with other "nicknames", such as "baby" or "hon", though.

Yeah. I don't mind most nicknames, either. In fact, I don't think I've ever been called something didn't like.

Okay. Note to self: Text her in about 1.5 hours and ask her for her weekly schedule, that way you know when you can and can't talk to her. I don't think I need to talk to her every day about the situation, and doing so would just cause more problems for both of us, as she said. But just talking to her about random things does help, so maybe I could do that every day. She sounded like she was thinking the same thing, too, when we were about to say goodbye today since she had to go back to class. I would normally do that with other people, but talking to them won't help me in this case. Only her, because she knows what to say and when to say it. And remembering what she said helps keep bad thoughts concerning the situation out of my head. I don't think I'll ever have one of the late night chats with her, but that's okay. It's probably for the best, anyways.

It's a good thing my dad hasn't yelled at me at all recently. Problems with dad plus the situation? Would not be very good for my health. The situation's hard enough.

I was called "princess" recently, which was unusual but strangely I quite liked it. I also get called "babe" a lot, don't mind that either.

Well the good news of today is that my grandad has been discharged from hospital.

Okay. Kids will be home in an hour. I think I'll work on the kitchen first, and then, if I have time, I'll work on Art as well.

I can do this, and tomorrow I'll do a little more. Baby steps and maybe I'll finally get my room set up just right.

Okay. Can't physically talk to her every day, or even every other day, because of her mom. But maybe once or twice a week is all I need. And I can still text her whenever, since her mom doesn't necessarily notice that. She didn't mention whether weekends were fine or not, but that's okay; I don't think I'll ever call her when my family's around since we usually talk about the situation and they don't know the full story because I can't tell them, so yeah. Maybe every Wednesday I could talk to her. Or Mondays and Fridays (although she likes to leave Fridays open). I guess I'll figure it out as the days go by. Taking this one day at a time. Maybe once a week will be all I need, just to hear her laugh or say my name or whatever. We'll see.

I don't like the way her mom sounded so disappointed in her. That really wasn't necessary, and all for what? That must hurt, I'm sure. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
