No the first chapter has nothing to do with TLK but give it some time and it will... definitly by second chapter, Please don't move the topic because its not on topic with the lion king yet... thanks! also this isn't one of my better works in my opinion but i don't really know what to change in the first chapter so i figured i'll post it and see what everyone else thinks------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter one
It was a cold winter morning, A young fourteen year old boy stood outside his house waiting for his bus to come. Like every other day he waited outside for hours. Though outside was cold, he could hear his mothers constant bickering with his step father less. He sat on the bench waiting for his bus, listening to his music, “Father, I can't find the way...I can't keep going on like this...” He thought to himself he sighed.
“What's wrong Oata?” He hadn't noticed his next door a young girl had been watching him by the bus stop from across the street.
“Oh hi Molly, I'm fine but thanks for asking” He quickly looked to see if his bus was coming, hoping he wouldn't have to explain himself to this little girl.
“No, you don't look ok... still thinking about your daddy huh?” She yelled back across the street...
He sighed once more looking both ways for his bus when he saw no cars were coming he crossed over to talk to her...
“Yeah, I know its been two years but I still can't seem to get over it...” He said as he sat down next to her,
“Listen Oata, sometimes bad things just happen... and I know it doesn't help but you can't really do much about it... Time will heal, alright?” She looked over to him patting him on the back
“Alright, I'll give it some more time. Thanks.” He gave her the glimpse of a smile as his bus came he crossed back across the street, “See you tomorrow Molly.” he shouted to her
He made his way to the back of the bus, no one sat next to him he just listened to his music, he noticed one of his typical bullies was staring at him so he expected there to be a confrontation
Then after a moment of silence, the bully started to talk “So, Oata... Let me listen to your iPod!”
“Sorry, but I'm kind of using it right now.” Oata politely responded.
“Oh come on just for a minute...” The bully persisted as he reached for the iPod
“No, can you please just leave me alone.” Oata Pleaded and pushed his hand away,
“Fine, I tried to be nice but you couldn't just learn how to share... guys a little help back here, we need to teach our friend here a lesson!” A group of seniors came to the back of the bus, and started to verbally abuse Oata,
“Do you still think about your dad, and how much of a looser he was!”
This infuriated Oata but he kept his cool for the moment
“Does it make you feel good, knowing that your dad's dead because of...”
Oata couldn't let him finish his sentence... “Fine here you want it, go get it...” He took his iPod and threw it towards the front of the bus...
“Oh that was a big mistake...” The group of seniors stopped attacking him with words, but started beating him senseless
“come on guys, I don't want any trouble!” He said as they continued to assault him.
“Shut up!” one yelled as the kicked him in his face... The bus stopped short,
“Everyone in there seats now...” the driver shouted with a commanding voice The group of bullies sat down, Oata couldn't get up so fast
“Okay Oata off the bus, your causing to much trouble!”
“Fine! I'd be safer walking anyway...” He shouted as he stepped off the bus...
Later that night Oata lay in his bed, thinking about his father and the night he died. He started to tear, as he fell asleep... little did he know, his whole world was going to change tonight...
