Zepheus walked through the area, smiling as she looked at the almost empty sky. Today's perfect for exploring.. she thought, looking at a nearby shrub. the leaves rustled, yet there was no wind so Zepheus ran over and saw that there was a tiny meerkat foaming at the mouth and bleeding from the eyes. "He-hello?" Zepheus stuttered, worried as she watched the tiny fellow convulse. "Are you o-okay..?" Zepheus stepped closer, and the meerkat let out a sharp bark when it saw her get close and he bit Zepheus's leg. "Agh-!" Zepheus yelped, and she backed up, and she started to run back to her pride. "M-mom?!" Zepheus said, stumbling as she went to her mother. "Zepheus? are you ok?" Zepheus's mom, Aklayki, questioned. Zepheus shook her head, panting and twitching, and she started to feel dizzy, then she went unconscious. To be continued :3
