So the Lion Guard is some new show going on some time after The Lion King?

Yep, in November a tv movie is going to air that stars Simba's son, Kion, who is the leader of the Lion Guard. He needs to protect the pridelands and help to maintain the Circle of Life. It's pretty exciting. A tv show will follow some time after.

I've read all of these except the last one - they are great. I haven't finished The First King yet, although it's worth mentioning that HydraCarina has also posted it here on our own MLKFAA under the name Nadra.

That being said, I'm really surprised anyone could do a TLK fan-comic recommendation without recommending Savu's comics.

If you're looking for great artists in general, and not just comics, I'd go with any of the following (personal favorites are in bold): dukacia, BlazingBlackMage, HydraCarina/Nadra, KaiserTiger/Firestar, kohu-arts, Takadk, TamberElla, albinoraven666fanart, Aubzsey33, Demi-Dee96, DJ88, MalisTLK, MissAudi, NostalgicChills, Panther85, Savu0211, TC-96, X-Zelfa, and YurikoSchneide.

This is my personal opinion and these are just some of the ones from my dA watchlist. I'm sure there's even more great talent out there, so don't be afraid to explore, but looking up any of those artists should put you off to a good start. The TLK fan-base on dA is pretty big.

Also, I haven't really been on FFn in forever but if anyone wanted I could probably give them a nice list of recommendations from over there too. ^^

For lion guard, I'm planning on having over my bestie (no one else) and buy some candy and pop corn and stuff. Set up a mattress in my movie room and watch the first possible showing of lion guard on my giant projector screen! Than have a sleepover that night
I'm so exited it's just a month away! I really hope the lion guard doesn't come on in the morning or while I'm a school though...
Anyone else doin anything like this?
