Can't believe five months has passed without my dear boy Buffy being in my life. I miss him every day, and I am so grateful for him and everything he gave me. He was the best dog and it's insane that he hasn't been by my side for five months. Gosh, nights like these are hard. All I want is to wrap my arms around him and smell his fur... it really hurts that I can't do that anymore.

^ Losing a pet really is the worst. I'm dreading losing my dogs. It's difficult since we grow attached to something that has such a shorter lifespan than we do.

^ I definitely do, especially the oldest one. She's already about 13 years old, and she has an enlarged heart, so I'm bracing myself for the inevitable.
