Simba turned to hear the slow breaths behind him and Nala to see Sam sulking alone.
"Sam? I thought you had departed with Kiara and Rafiki." Simba nuzzled Nala and approached Sam, slowly placing his paw on her shoulder. Simba, concern in his brows, studied Sam for an emotion.

She looks to Sam and walks over as well. "You okay?" She asks, sitting by her side.

"Yeah, I'm okay. It's just that.... I feel useless. I didn't do anything to help the pride!" Sam said, closing her eyes, feeling tears form in her eyes.

"It's okay. We can handle it." She says, smiling and nuzzling her.

Laughing, Sam said, "I would like that. What are you guys gonna name it when it's born?"

"I don't know yet." She says. "I'll be back. I'm hungry." She says getting up and goes down Pride Rock to hunt for food
