I wanted to work on my backgrounds and this is what I came out with.

The sun was beginning to touch pride rock. Vitani knew that the pride would begin to wake soon and she didn't want to be around for that. Her cub was growing inside of her and she couldn't let the pride find out about her forbidden love affair with the Rogue from the Outlands. Association with anyone from the Outlands meant exile and Vitani couldn't bare the thought of exile. So she would run away.
Vitani didn't have a set place where she should go but she decided she would just keep walking until she discovered a safe and suitable home for her and her cub.
The sun had reached the middle of the sky by the time she found a quiet and secluded spot to rest. She was hungry, but as she made herself comfortable she decided she would rest and then find food.
"Rest, then hunt" she mumbled to herself before resting her head on her paws and closing her eyes.
