MCR is my favorite band, no kidding, they're not an "emo" group, or weren't, since they broke up now. They had some emo albums but that wasn't all they were.

But seriously, though. One of my friends IRL is into MCR kinda and she makes fun of my music for being too angsty. xD They're really not that emo, at least from what I know. Obviously they are in like every fanfiction dealing with goth Mary Sues, though. So that's definitely a thing.

LOL. Interesting tidbit. Gerard Way was born on the same day as me, just 15 years earlier.
I remember in high school I had MCR pictures on my folder, I was 15 at the time. Some dude looks and points at Gerard and goes, "Do you wanna date him?" And I said, "No." He goes, "why not, don't you think he's hot?" I replied, "Dude, he's twice my age. I just think he sings good."
