Yep, and this isn't the only time Kiara has an Outsider nose, either. She briefly has one when she starts smelling the grass fire (though this may be just an effect to give her flared nostrils), and again after she and Simba climb out of the gorge.

lol, is everyone this intent on finding every little mistake with the TLK movies? No one is perfect after all, let alone Disney and these films obviously took a ton of work to make so they should be allowed a few mistakes here and there. Besides, this just seems like knit-picking to me but that's just my opinion. lol. ^^

How can that be, when the lighting and shadows in both this screenshot and the first one posted indicate that the sun is above and behind her? I think it's more likely that the animators just forgot to color her nostrils in. The same thing happens with some of the Outsiders during the battle scene.

hmm, nope, going by the shadows left on the part of Simba's mane that hangs over his face, it looks like the sun is back behind him, shining straight up Kiara's nose ^.^

You know that is kinda what I think. (Yeah, ironic that I posted a topic about another mistake) I mean animators aren't perfect and sometimes make mistakes on their work. How would you like it if somebody were looking at your drawings and commented on how you forgot the claws to the character and said you were an epic fail. Not good eh? Just try to keep that in mind mah fellow members! =)

Even though I find the fails funny, I have to agree with this
They might have had hundreds of people working for them, but even my short animations are tricky enough! And each person would have to do a lot of work.

It was probably one of Kiaras "lower" animaters who did that...not the lead, that's when most of the mistakes are made (I think)
