[OPEN] Rescuing Simba

This RP takes place after SP.

Realizing that he was nearing the end of his life, Simba decided to take care of some unfinished business with a friend. He had never told anyone about this accquaintance, and hadn't seen him in a very long time. Leaving Kovu in charge, Simba set off for the top of a tall mountain to take care of business.

Weeks later, after arriving at the mountaintop and finishing up what needed to be done, he set off for home again. Not being used to the frigid climate of the mountaintop, he slipped on some ice and fell all the way down the mountain. He fell and fell, until he finally came to rest in the scorching-hot climate of the savvanah. He wasn't hurt, but he did not realize that he had gone down the wrong side of the mountain! He set off, walking in what he thought was the direction of the Pridelands, but was really the direction of another, foreign land.

After walking for days, he fell ill with an illness native to the area. He collapsed and would soon die if he did not receive a leaf of the Jogu plant, which only grew in the Pridelands.

A half-size rogue lioness named Kemmy [link] stumbled upon him in the desert and, after thinking for a bit, realized that it was King Simba! She had been present at his birth ceremony, but had fled the Pridelands after Scar's takeover. She knew she had to get him back to his home, but being so small, she couldn't possibly take him herself. And, being a rogue, she had no friends or Pride to help her.

Would you mind if I attempted to play Kovu? Bear in mind that I've never RPed before but I've been wanting to learn. So I'd be a total novice at this, but if you'll have me, I'm willing to do this to the best of my ability. If you'd rather have a more experienced RPer, just let me know, no worries. But if you don't mind, then cool! Just shoot me a PM, if you could, letting me know kinda where Kovu's gonna be fitting into all this (unless you've got nothing more planned out than the fact that he's the de facto king while Simba is gone ^^).
