Ah ha! Got another image done this month!
Got another B-Day card I need to do too, so expect that in the next few days. Mom's B-Day. XD

Anyway, have this of Lion Sora, saw an image of him I have not seen in ten years, loved the image then, and today, I decided to redraw it. Did a lot of experimenting with this image as well. Really love the outcome!

Eee, that's awesome. I really like the shading. His eyes and hair look amazing too. His ears are a bit big, but maybe that's just a style thing, or Sora's ears are just big? I'm not sure. xD
Just curious, why are the whiskers on the right side of his face lighter and have the appearance of not being attached to his face?

Yup, thanks a lot!
His ears are a bit on the big side, partially due to style and they actually are a little big in game anyway, XD

After I made the background transparent, the whiskers on the right were gone, so I had to try and digitally re-add but try to keep them close to the existing ones opacity, could be why they are kinda lighter.
And them not being attached was an experimental style thing as well. Most of this image was me experimenting with lots of things. Was also basing it from an existing image, why can't I find it again. After seeing it a couple days back. I'll add the link to it when I find again. Whenever that'll be.
I'm gonna be keeping how I do the line-art though, love how that came out alone.

Ah, that makes sense. xD Although I can't complain about big-eared lions when the ears I used to draw on my lions made them look like Dumbo.

Oh, okay. Thanks for the explanation. xD It just looked a tad bit off since each "set", I guess, of whiskers looked different.

To me, da bigger ears look cute, but not too big though. Dumbo ears would be a bit big lol. With practice the'll get closer to the right size. I honestly think no one has the ears the proper size anyway. Everyone's style looks different. So that would depend on the artist.
And I think when anyone draws, they use some of their own proportions in their pics. Knowingly or not. It something I have noticed over the years. You can actually tell quite a lot from an artist just by the proportions and such on how they draw.

It looks very nice I love the shading and the sketchy feeling in it. Did you draw it on paper and scan it? (That's what I usually do )
I like the hair and eyes, the mouth as well! It's a pain to try and get it to look right.

I honestly do not know how to respond to that Adimu. It definitely means A LOT! I've always wanted to get compared to her, yet at the same time. I would like t to remain different from her too. It's nice to know that I'm making progress.

Yes, I scanned in a traditional picture! I like the traditional lines more than digital lines. More authentic they are. Wish I could figure out how to get the same appearance with digital lines, XD

This pic I was doing a lot of experimenting with expression. I need to do expression much more. It's a fun challenge to do, so is foreshortening. I need to do both at the same time, XD

True, traditional lines look nicer, it's also much more fun to watch someone draw traditionally than digitally, when you see the pencil you can really feel the art.

Training is good! always draw and sketch. If I never practice my drawings could've looked like a 2 years old's scribble XD.
