Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

[Iri]

"That's good to hear," Kapuki replied. "Now, you are aware that I'm not very fond of you. Do I hate you? No. But I don't like you much. And I know on occasion you've asked why I don't like you. Do you want me to give you an honest answer?"

[Adofo]

She took in a deep breath of air and slowly let it all out. She was preparing for something harsh just to be safe.
Alitash: ...Yes.

[Iri]

"To be frank, I think you spend too much time moping. I'm sorry, Alitash, but I don't want my little sister to live with someone- presumably for the rest of her life- and have to listen to her mope and wail about everything every other day. I'm no stranger to hardship, and maybe it's just me because I grew up in an environment where complaining nonstop would not be tolerated, but that's my main issue with you," Kapuki replied. She had tried to be as non-harsh as possible, but at the same time didn't want to coddle Alitash or protect her from her own truthful opinion. Sometimes a little "tough love" was just necessary.

[Adofo]

Alitash: .....I see. I know you probably don't want an explanation....but.....I guess the reason I'm like this is because....my parents were killed and I spent so long on my own.....trying to find someone to care about me. .....And after so long.....it finally broke me. ...Something like that either toughens you up.....or makes you a wimp. .....It's pretty clear which one I am. And even thiugh I have a home, a mother and a mate now.....those feelings still haunt me every second of my life! And you forgot to say one thing. .....That I don't deserve, Shujaa. ...Because I don't. No one deserves someone as amazing as she is!

[Iri]

"Like I've said, Alitash, I'm not a stranger to hardship. And to be honest? I may be tough. But Shujaa isn't. I love the girl to bits, but she's frightened of the world. And I do believe I've been too harsh with you. Yes, sometimes you irritate me, but I'm pretty sure I irritate you sometimes." Kapuki held out her forepaw formally and kindly. "Though I doubt we'll ever be friends, I think it's time to call a truce."

[Adofo]

Alitash put her paw with hers and shook it gently
Alitash: There is something I do want to say. .....Now.....being my sister in law now.....I actually.....love you! Like you said.....even though we may never be friends.......that doesn't mean I don't love you! .....You're important to Shujaa.....so you're important to me!
She felt better having said that. Of course she doesn't expect anything to change or for Kapuki to suddenly love Ali as a sister, but it did make her get some weight off her chest

[Iri]

"And you are important to Shujaa, so that makes you family," Kapuki replied. "Thank you, Alitash. I know you'll make Shujaa happy." Without another word, she gave a respectful nod and turned to leave the cave. Shujaa followed, looking confused.
"What was that about?" the greyish lioness asked.

[Adofo]

Alitash: Just.....a very nice talk!
She said as she snuggled against her mate once mire

Shujaa glanced over her shoulder. Alitash didn't seem too unhappy... Perhaps the talk between Shujaa's mate and her sister wasn't as severe as Shujaa assumed. She lay down, leaning gently against Alitash's shoulder.

Alitash: ...Shujaa? .....Can you promise me......we'll be together forever?
