My style

How should I manage my style?

If you didn't know, I've come up with a much more simple style I can use if I don't have my tablet. Have I tried using it with my mouse yet? No, not necessarily, but I plan to soon. But I need your opinion.

How do y'all like it? And should I use it more? it really is a lot more easy, but I want opinions first before diving too far into it as my main course. I'll still use my current style, yes, but probably only for requests/gift/other stuff.

I'm a cartoon-y person, I guess, I grew up drawing blobs and weird looking cats and dogs. I didn't have a computer like I do now to reference TLK as easily as I can now. Not to mention, I was too young to grasp a permanent style.

Here's some examples of the two styles:
1.) http://www.mylionking.com/fan/art/Artis ... work=21169 (current style)
2.) http://www.mylionking.com/fan/art/Artis ... work=21231 (second style)

If I don't get a response, I might just move over to the second style anyways just because it doesn't strain my hand as much.

I like your "current" style because in my opinion, it looks unique.
However, I also like your second style because I like the cartoony look to it. Plus, you said it's easier and doesn't strain your hand as much.

Let's see what others say. If anyone else says anything, that is. Thanks for your input.

Honestly, I like both, you current art is very lovely and, like Iri said, unique, and I also think it is unique to you and your personality. Your second style is more chibi-like, but VERY cute!! You could do a mixture of both. Some pictures in your old style, some in your new, if you're still not sure which style to use, ask yourself this: Am I happy with my current style of art? Best of luck!

Personally I lean towards your current style more than the second style. Don't take it the wrong way though, I love both of them, and as the others have mentioned, the styles are unique in their own way. For making small, doodle/comedy drawings, I would suggest a style similar to your second one, but not as 'complex' I suppose you could say. Using the second style as a way to keep yourself away from artists' block is another thing you could try out as well, but overall, use both often. For what one you do more is your choice, whatever makes you feel like you're drawing for fun, not for chore.

This is only my opinion, please don't take this offensively in any way. I love your art very much, and love to view every one you upload. c:
