I actually like a few of younger kid shows, to be honest.

I tend to not like the "interactive" TV shows (which are more of the learning kind of). They just bore you to death if you know the answer to every question. xD But they are aimed for younger kids, so I can understand that (PLEASE don't let The Lion Guard be like that Disney).

I don't think those are as popular nowadays? Especially not for this type of show, which feels like it might be action oriented. I'm imagining something like a younger-oriented Planeteers.

It will be odd to see how they do an environmental themed edutainment show in a world without extant humans, though. Unless we suddenly get humans in which case the fandom will tear itself to pieces.

and I pray that that is not Kiara since its not the final cover. If it is I pray that she's just horrendously off model in the books. Its not too uncommon considering books are often licensed out to other companies and they're fairly sloppily done, one of the covers has a Bunga vector on the cover with white border still showing.

The rest of the books are off model compared to the rest of the footage we have seen...

They are also wildly inconsistent with each other.

.... But doesn't kiara look a little young? I hope she isn't a cub in tlg cause that would mean they retconned the existince of sp. Granted, I wouldn't mind that too much if kovu was in since they were the best part of it...

I think its mainly because of the title? Although we have no idea who that is.

I mean I still state that its possible (not probable but just possible) that TLG takes place during the timeskip in SP, which wouldn't necessarily retcon anything. Like how the How to Train Your Dragon TV show takes place between the first and second movies but doesn't overwrite them.

I feel like that might be a really off model version of the cheetah though? Or just a really weird looking lion cub. The summary also doesn't match the title at all.

I have seen a few disney jr shows and while they weren't superdeep they weren't fourth wall breaking dora explorer shows.

And yeah, there's a lot of things that are off with that book.

Why? Why do people keep thinking this? Watch Sofia the First and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. If those are interactive, it will be in the same way. They said it will be like those shows.

That is NOT Kiara or the cheetah. There is no reason to think that it is. Disney would not mess up that badly. They know better. Come on people, please try to think before you wildly speculate.

Probably was just outsourced to a lazy artist.

It would be really weird to have a book about a tlk princess and it not be Kiara, although I did say that I hoped it wasn't her. Maybe she's some other princess from some other kingdom, or maybe the title isn't final, or maybe the art was outsourced to bad artists.

We really don't have anything but wild speculation at the moment. When we finally get ACTUAL news that isn't sloppily done book not-finalized book covers and vague hearsay descriptions then the speculation will get a lot less wild.

Maybe we need a new thread just for speculation and leave this one to just news.
