Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

[Iri]

"First of all, I was talking about all of them, and second of all, how do you know that she loves me?" Chaltuu grumbled with a roll of her eyes and a snort. How did he know she'd be "heartbroken", exactly, or that the white cub apparently "loved" her?

[Adofo]

Hamadou: Because she said so! You're her new mommy! ....You have no idea how happy she is that she has a new mom and dad! She even told me that she wants to be your best friend...but that she didn't want to hurt my feelings for it not being me. But I told her that it'd be great for you two to be best friends! ...You mean a lot to her! You really really do!

[Iri]

"Best friends?" Chaltuu scoffed. That sounded almost painfully endearing... Perhaps just painful. "Whatever. She's my kid and I'm going to search for her. If she means that much to you, why don't you help me look for her, hmm?"

[Adofo]

Hamadou: Okay. Let's find them!
He was a little hurt that his mate just called their daughter 'stupid'. All of them or not, she insulted their own daughter. And her reaction to her wanting to be his mates best friend hurt too. She just didn't even care. And also, he was a little confused. She seemed so willing and even a little upbeat, at least for her, to adopt a cub. But now she just makes it sound like adopting her and raising her is a burden. He knew she wouldn't just suddenly turn into the best mother ever, but he had hoped that having their own cub would at least make her a little happy. Maybe even smile a bit.

[Iri]

After what seemed like forever of calling their names, Chaltuu finally shouted towards Hamadou, Neema, and Enzi, "I found them." Madiba and Nuru were lying down, evidently taking a break from the endless walking.

[Adofo]

Hamadou rushed over to his mates yelling while Enzi quickly followed his mate. Gakere just came back to the couple and saw Nuru's mom coming towards them.
Gakere: Uh-oh! ...Busted!
The others soon all gathered around the three cubs.
Hamadou: What are you three doing out here!?
Enzi: You could have gotten hurt! Or killed! Or lost!

[Iri]

"We were, uh, just going to head to the jungle," Nuru replied sheepishly. "We didn't think it would be this far away!"

[Adofo]

Gakere: .....We're really sorry!
Hamadou: We were all worried sick!
Enzi: Don't you three EVER leave home without one of us again!
Hamadou: Do you understand!?
Gakere: ...Yes sir...

[Iri]

"But we didn't get killed or hurt or lost-" Madiba began to protest, but he broke off and shut his mouth as Nuru nudged him sharply in the ribs. "Yes, Daddy. Yes, Hamadou." He wondered why his mother hadn't said anything to scold them, but he realized with her glare that not only was she angry with them for running off and presumably making her worried that they could have been hurt, it was evident in her gaze that she was also disappointed in them...

Chaltuu muttered to Hamadou, "I will give Nuru a lecture later." Without a word to her child, however, she leaned over, grabbed Nuru's scruff, and headed back up towards their territory. Neema took Madiba, and she nodded towards Enzi to pick up Gakere.

[Adofo]

Enzi picked up Gakere and they all walked back to their home. Gakere was scared of what they were going to do to them.
