The Lion Guard (2015 / 2016)

I know that it has not been specifically stated that The Lion Guard will take place after Lion King 2. It is just that given what has been said, placing it within Lion King 2 would just unnecessarily complicate things.

It make no sense that Jason Marsden would not return to voice Kovu, (Unless he simply does not have the time). that is a huge disappointment.

Actually Bambi And Faline, Tramp And Lady, and Pongo And Perdita all had offspring in their debut movies. However Simba And Nala are The First Disney animated couple to have more than one litter (If a single birth can be called a litter).

Not at all, I barely ever watch TV these days unless I'm really, really bored or I'm too ill to use a computer. And for me, when there is a show that I want to watch, it's only on US television stations (unless I want to be 2 seasons behind then sure, there's an English channel somewhere that airs it...). And even then I think there's only been about 2 shows that I've followed.

I am getting curious about Kovu though.

Honestly, I'd find it really stupid to have Kiara as an adult and future Queen and still not include Kovu.

Kovu not being in The Lion Guard makes even less sense than recasting him.

One thing I am wondering right now, will the lion guard get its own board like the individual films or will it be treated like the timon and pumbaa show?

Considering its actually going to be canon (even more canon than 1.5), I'd presume it would get its own board.

Especially since it will come out at the same time as this board exists, so it will have a LARGE amount of posts associated with it.

I'm guessing he's a villain, either leader of the hyenas (and is an actual hyena), leader of the hyenas and is a lion, or just a evil lion who has nothing to do with the hyenas. I would like to see another lion villain, so fingers crossed! Although I can't be sure he's evil.

If he's a hyena, he won't be the leader. Hyenas are led by females, which Disney acknowledged with Shenzi.
