[Warning: I'm going to be extremely blunt here, but... I personally don't like the "taking multiple beatings from hyenas" concept. Sorry if that sounded rude, it wasn't meant to... But to be completely truthful I dislike that part of Adofo's story.]
With a snort, Chaltuu replied in a brusque voice, "Uh, yeah, sure... Whatever." She made her way into one of the dens- it was really more of a hole in the side of a hill surrounded by boulders, but she considered it a cave. The shelter was decently sized, and it seemed secure and safe... She was a little surprised as she watched the storm, and there seemed to be very minimal lightning... But every time she dis see a flash of the bright, brief light, she almost shuddered. While she wasn't necessarily afraid of lightning, it did make her anxious, and it startled her, especially with how little lightning there was in the sky- it was mostly just thunder, rain, and very heavy gusts of wind. But she didn't let her slight nervousness with the storm bubble to the surface and show. Instead she put on her typical brave face and watched the rain, feeling some of it patter on her muzzle, her head sticking out of the cave entrance slightly.
