Private w/ Adofo

"I'm fine," Chaltuu responded. She didn't need Adofo to see her cry. She didn't need anyone to see her cry, for that matter. She was making herself look weak... She mopped at her eyes with her paw again and stared in the opposite direction, instead thinking about her three younger sisters. How were they doing, she wondered. Not a considerable amount of time had passed since their separation, but even then she felt a pang of longing to perhaps just see them again... Somewhere, deep down, she did feel a twinge of regret for parting from her siblings, but it had been for the best. After all, she and Kapuki had been scuffling and were constantly at each other's throats, and Shujaa had been unhappy with her eldest sister's negative, cross attitude. Ua, of course, had simply been in her ignorant bliss, without much worry about her surroundings.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Okay. Just checking.

[Iri]

[Not meaning to sound rude, but do you mind writing a little bit more than just a one-liner? Again, not asking you to write a ton of stuff, but at least maybe a brief paragraph?]

Chaltuu shifted her position, trying to get comfortable, but her efforts were futile. She wasn't really okay, but she absolutely refused to say otherwise... Though she would never admit it out loud and she would undoubtedly deny it repeatedly if anyone asked her, but she did miss her family- well, her sisters, at least. Perhaps she felt stronger sorrow for her separation from Kapuki, but she doubted it. As much as she had pretended not to, she did care about her sisters to an extent, but it had been undoubtedly difficult for her to bond with two young cubs she had only just met. "If you don't mind me asking, where's your home and what's it called again?" she asked, her voice still brusque and terse like always. Normally, she would never try to start a conversation, but she figured she did need something to distract her mind from Dhakiya and her three younger siblings, at least for a short amount of time.

[Adofo]

Adofo: It's called Priderock. In a place called the Pridelands! ...It's a true paradise!
Adofo stretched and in doing so, made some of his bones crack. Especially from his back.
Adofo: .....I just hope my pride isn't going crazy looking for me. Especially the King. My little brother. He's probably panicing right now.

(Sorry. I just got home from work, im tired and i have a huge headache and i swear i think my left eyeball is about to pop out of my head)

[Iri]

[It's okay.]

"A true paradise, hmm?" Chaltuu inquired, arching one of her thick, masculine-looking eyebrows. She had never really lived in what was known as a 'paradise', so perhaps she just didn't have much of an understanding of it. Pride Rock, in the Pridelands? What an interesting thing to call your home, she thought, but maybe she was being opinionated, like always. As he mentioned his pride 'going crazy' looking for him, and his brother panicking, she frowned a little bit. Was it from jealousy? No, probably not... But she couldn't help but think about how when she had lived in her father's pride, how nobody would be frantically on the search for her... Except for Dhakiya, of course, but now Dhakiya was dead, so she didn't even count anymore...

[Adofo]

Adofo: Yeah. ......You know......you can come back with me if you want too. You can even stay there for a while!

[Iri]

"Umm... that's a lovely offer," Chaltuu had to confess. Should she accept or decline? It really did seem like a genuine proposition, but she also had three reasons that at least she herself found decently reasonable, to reject. Not only did she rather prefer the lifestyle of a nomadic rogue, she wasn't the most friendly creature- quite the opposite, actually. She was considerably anti-social and brusque, and did not enjoy the company of many in the slightest bit, and it had been proven by her travels with her siblings... Besides, she was still on her journey. An excursion to locate Dhakiya's murderer, and to avenge her ally, the only one in her childhood that had shown her legitimate friendliness and kindness, even if the gestures had not been thoroughly returned. The reddish-brown lioness refused to surrender, to give up her mission, until the killer of Dhakiya had been found. She had never even stopped to wonder if revenge was really the answer... Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, but she didn't care. She ignored her morals and let her anger and bitterness take over her ethics.

[Adofo]

Adofo: You don't have to give me an answer right now if you're not ready yet! But when you do make up your mind, just tell me!
Adofo stretched and let out a yawn
Adofo: You mind if I take a short nap?

[Iri]

"Umm... why would I really care if you want to sleep or not?" Chaltuu responded with a quizzical expression. She rested her head on her paws, leaning to her left a little bit. She had to admit that she felt considerably exhausted, probably from dragging herself around all day since the accident. But she didn't fall asleep. Yet again, her thoughts wandered over to her three siblings. She imagined them resting in some thick brush to conceal Shujaa and Ua from dangerous rogues or other kinds of predators that could pose a threat to the two younger, smaller cubs. She visualized Shujaa nestled against Kapuki's belly, safe from most general harm, Ua curled up comfortably between them, and the second oldest sister draping her paw over the two youngsters protectively. It did take Chaltuu some time to fall asleep, but she finally managed to drift off into a steady, dreamless slumber.

Adofo fell asleep ad dreamed about childhood memories with his family. From doing things with his mother and father, to playing with his brother. But then...it turned into a horrible nightmare. The whole pride began to chase Adofo and ended up reaching his family. But when he got to them, even they began to hunt him. He ran and ran until he hit a dead end. As his loved ones came closer, he cowared and begged for his life. Then his mother, father and brother all leaped at him and began to eat him alive. As he was being torn apart from the ones he loved most, he sprang awake, screaming.
