Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

[Iri]

"I don't think so."
Chaltuu lashed her tail as about three other white lionesses circled them, ears pinned back and scowls on their faces. Four lions against two.

[Adofo]

Hamadou stood in front of his mate defensively from the first female.
Hamadou: You're making a big mistake!
He said unsheathing his claws

[Iri]

"There are four of us. Two of you. Are you that audacious?" the first female sneered.
"I can take care of myself," Chaltuu muttered in Hamadou's ear, and she turned towards the two females with a sneer. She unsheathed her claws and drew her lips back in a fierce snarl.

[Hamadou and Chaltuu can't take on four grown lionesses. Just a heads-up/warning.]

[Adofo]

Hamadou: No. It's four on one! Leave my mate alone and fight me! ...Or are you four too afraid to take me on alone?
Hamadou knew what he was saying was insane, but he didn't want his mate to get hurt. At that moment, he glared at Chaltuu
Hamadou: Sit this one out.
He was dead serious. He was in no mood to be objected to. And it was clear from the look in his eyes.

[Iri]

Chaltuu didn't care about the intense look in his eyes that clearly told her to sit out. Instead she bristled with fury. "What!?" she shouted angrily. "How dare you tell me to 'sit this one out'? You can't order me around, Hamadou, and I am not a helpless cub! I'm just as capable of fighting as you are, so don't treat me like a weak subordinate and act like you're so much stronger than I am!"

Instead of attacking, the four leucistic females watched with amusement.

[Adofo]

Hamadou: This isn't about me trying to be better than you! This is about me loving you so much that I can't stand to see you get hurt!! Why can't you ever see that?! Why do you think I'm always trying to be better than you?! Or that I want to treat you like you're helpless!? I don't want you to get hurt because I love you! Period!!!

[Iri]

[Hamadou, you get an A+ with punctuation.

"You think I want to see you get hurt!?" Chaltuu shouted back at him. "No, I don't! So quit trying to play hero and let me fight my own battles!"

[Adofo]

Hamadou: YOU........you...don't want to see me get hurt either?
He said, calming down as he started to make a small smile

[Iri]

"You think I do!?" demanded Chaltuu angrily. "You think I want to see you get hurt! Why do you act so surprised whenever I say something like, 'I don't want to see you get hurt'? It's like you think I don't care for you at all!"
"Look, if you're done playing hero, and you're done shouting, get out of our territory or we'll kill you," snarled the first lioness.

[Adofo]

Hamadou: Okay. ...Lets go.
