Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

Chaltuu wasn't completely sure that she could make that promise. She did genuinely love Hamadou, but she wondered if something ever really put a big enough wedge between them and their relationship- whether it be romantic or friendly- that it couldn't be salvaged, then what would she do? Break that promise? Chaltuu was admittedly a lot of things- obdurate, aggressive, short-tempered, but despite that, she hated breaking promises. She paused for a minute, keeping silent.

[Adofo]

Hamadou: .....I know it's a lot to ask.....and I've made mistakes.....even just earlier today.......but if you're willing to try to keep that lromise....I am too! ......You and only you....are the only lioness I've ever loved! Even after we die.....I want our souls to be together for all eternity! .....I love you, Chaltuu! ......And nothing will ever make me say otherwise!

"I've also made mistakes," Chaltuu said gruffly but honestly. "I'm not the most compatible lioness, I'll admit. However, I will try my best to keep that promise."

[Adofo]

Hamadou: ...You promise?!
He said with a smile

[Iri]

"I said," Chaltuu repeated, "that I will try my best." But then again, sometimes my best isn't enough, she thought.

[Adofo]

Hamadou went in for big loving kiss. Once he finished, he touched his nose to hers.
Hamadou: I love you!

[Iri]

"I love you too," Chaltuu said.

[Adofo]

Hamadou began nuzzling his mate. Purring as he did so.
Hamadou: And Chaltuu...it's okay to show your emotions! You don't have to hide your love for me! You don't need to hide any of what you feel! .....Your father can't hurt you anymore! ...No one will think you're weak.....or pathetic.....or touchy feely just because you let your emotions out when you want too! .....I actually worry about how keeping everything inside is affecting you! It's not healthy! .....I'm not asking you to change.....I just don't want to see you hurt yourself by keeping everything to yourself! .....I love you.....and I don't want anything EVER to happen to you! .....When you say you love me........it really warms my heart and makes me smile! Please......don't hold it all in! ...You don't have to anymore! ...And even if you don't want to let the rest of the pride what's going on in your head........I'm your mate! You can tell me anything in the whole world...and I won't judge you about it!

"Honestly, it's just in my nature to conceal my emotions," Chaltuu replied flatly. "It's not because I'm trying to 'hide my love for you'."

Hamadou: Well.....if you do want to let them out....it's okay! But......you think.....maybe you could talk to me about some of your emotions? I just want to know what's going on inside you! ...But you don't have too. I just don't want you dealing with it alone.
