[Closed] An Important Messenger

[SnowyCheetah]

Bryony, a swift female cheetah, was running through the outlands. It was cold and wet that day She was from a lion pride far away, which had graciously accepted a group of cheetahs into their pride. She was a messenger for the pride. She had run many, many miles with an important message for King Simba.

She ran at a brisk pace, though not at full speed. She needed to conserve her energy to make it to the Pridelands in time. Suddenly she stepped on a rock at the wrong angle and twisted her left ankle, causing her to roll and break her right foreleg. Blood flowed from the breaking point and she fell unconcious, having bashed her head against a rock during the roll.

Days later on a cloudless day, a lioness arrived at Priderock. Her name was Ferria. "King Simba?" she called.

A fierce adult lion made his way out of the lion's den atop of pride rock he had heard the calling of his name, "Who's out there?" Simba called out with a demanding tone

[SnowyCheetah]

"I am Ferria," the lion answered. "I trust you are King Simba?

[Ushujaa]

Simba looked at the lioness, baffled to see a new comer to the Pride Lands, "Yes Ferria, i am the king, but please no need for formalities... Now where do you come from?"

[SnowyCheetah]

Nala stepped out of the cave and stretched, then stood next to Simba, nuzzlng him.

Ferria stood back up and spoke again, her expression quite worried. "I come
from the Ash pride, far away from here. A messenger was sent to your Prise but never returned."

[Ushujaa]

Simba looked back to Ferria and sighed " That is troubling, I'm sorry to tell you we've received no messenger... Maybe you know the route she was taking...?"

[Songo]

Sarabi’s yellow eyes peered over at the King and Queen chatting with a cheetah. She slowly lifted her body up and made her way towards them. She stepped upon them quietly to listen closely and dipped her head to Simba and Nala. “My king..My queen. What seems to be going on?” she asked curiously.

[Ushujaa]

Simba Leaned over to Sarabi and quietly whispered "She claims a messenger was sent here, Mother you wouldn't have seen anyone unfamiliar to the Pride Lands... Would you?"

[SnowyCheetah]

"I haven't the slightest idea what route she took... but all I know is that it is absolutely imperative that the message be delivered to you and you alone. If it reaches the wrong ears, it could be disastrous. If you don't get it, it could also be disastrous." The cheetah sighed.

[Ushujaa]

there was a moment of silence Simba thought hard on what to do, "Well then, It's Settled, Mother can you find Kovu, Kiara and Vitani... They seemed to be bored latley anyway... Maybe this is exactly what they need..."
