Do you think that Simba's overprotecting Kiara

I also think that Simba is overprotective towards Kiara. But, if we consider the danger that Zira provides for the pride, especially for Simba's own family, would'nt you also want to have your only child watched by your closest friends so that no one would harm her?
I don't know if Timon and Pumbaa would have been able to stop a fury outlander-lioness like Zira (moreover, I REALLY doubt that) but maybe they could have helped her escape in an emergency situation as Pumbaa is gifted with his very special....super-weapon, if you know what I mean.

yea thats the only thing I didn't like about Simba's Pride he was way 2 overprotective. Kiara didn't have any breathing room from Simba. But on the flip side he saw his own father die at the hands of his uncle. which he didn't know about. because he thought he killed him. Simba went through alot of trama in his young life and I can see now why he was so protective of Kiara. He knew what evil lirked in the outlands, and if I went through that same life I would probably be the exact same way.

I think if he had been treated the way he treated Kiara when he was a cub, he'd be a little more loose with her LOL... of course, then she woulda died...

This is my theory, I think Simba is overprotective because of what happened to Kopa.
