Shujaa shrugged. "Sure."

[Adofo]

Alitash went and laid down, awaiting Shujaa

[Iri]

Shujaa curled up on the soft soil and rested her head against Alitash's shoulder, her eyes closed peacefully.

[Adofo]

Hamadou was back out with Chaltuu.
Hamadou: Chaltuu? .....can you answer something for me? ......Why did you say yes to my proposal?

[Iri]

"Well... you make me feel considerably happier than a large majority of the others do," Chaltuu said. "I feel like you do genuinely care about me, and that feels nice... Why do you ask?"

[Adofo]

Hamadou: ...I don't know.....I know you don't want to turn into someone whos always touchy feely...and I'd never want you to be something you're not! .....But.....you're still so distant. .....You've only ever said "I love you" once...you never kiss me...you never cuddle up against me.....I still feel like you're trying to keep yourself away from me.

[Iri]

"You just said you understand that I don't want to turn into someone who's always touchy feely," Chaltuu retorted.

[Adofo]

Hamadou: I know.....but.....can you just tell me.....why you won't let me get close to you?

[Iri]

"What do you mean, 'get close to me'? We're mates, aren't we?" Chaltuu snapped, her temper flaring.

[Oh, Chaltuu, always looking for trouble.]

[Adofo]

Hamadou: Yes we are! Please don't be mad! ...I love you...I just...wished you could show that you felt the same.....without me asking for it. .....I know thats too much to ask...and that you're probably mad at me...so let me have it.
