Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

[Adofo]

Hamadou: Well.....for a new home but.....mostly........because.......I love Chaltuu...

[Iri]

Kapuki's brow lifted. "You love Chaltuu? I thought you and her hated each other's guts."

[Adofo]

Hamadou: .......No.....that was.......just my boyish way of showing my affection. Makes no sense. I know. ......But.....I'm crazy about her......always been. When she was thrown out.......I was sad........your father threatened to kill me if I went after her. ......So I stayed...

[Iri]

"My father can't control you," Kapuki retorted. "We're getting off the subject. You're in love with Chaltuu? I never would have guessed..."

[I think maybe since Hamadou and Chaltuu's relationship (I don't mean relationship as in romantic relationship) was quite a bit more well-developed, I might make an exception for Chaltuu's "romance-is-dumb" policy. ]

[Adofo]

Hamadou: Yeah........she's all I think about! I honestly never thought I'd see her again.

[Iri]

"Well, you've seen her again," Kapuki quipped. "Why did my father threaten to kill you if you didn't stay, but now he exiled you? It doesn't make any sense. My father isn't stupid. Controlling, yes, but he doesn't pull paradoxical stunts like that."

[Adofo]

Hamadou: He wanted her to wander off and die. He figured, no help, she'll die. Is......is there anything I can do to impress her?

[Iri]

"Impress Chaltuu? Not a likely feat," Kapuki snorted. "In seriousness, though... Don't flirt, she hates that. You can do small favours for her, but don't try to do every chore for her. In general, don't try too hard to impress her, she'll know what's up."

[Adofo]

Hamadou: Okay! Thanks for the advice!

[Iri]

"No problem," Kapuki replied, though her voice was chilled slightly.
