1st Chapter: A Cub in the Pride
On a very sunny day, in a pride called Grassland, a very kind lioness named Mariam was about to give birth to a cub, Everyone was waiting for the birth of the cub, after a couple moments, the cub has born, the cub as her mom were ok. One of the lioness gave the news to the whole pride. After that the leader of the pride went to see her, lay down was Mariam with her cub
"I'm really happy that you and your cub are ok" he said
"Thanks for worrying about me, and now things going to be Ok" Mariam said to the leader
"I know, and what is his or her name?" he asked her
"She Is a lioness and her name is Kamy"
"Kamy, hmm, that's a beautiful name" he said, but then he notice something on her cub
"Hey, are those black spots part of her fur" he asked
"I guess, but I think is just temporal" she answered him, and without worry anymore on that, the leader organized a ceremony to give the welcome to the new cub.
As the days were passing, Kamy was growing happily and healthy, but the black spots on her fur didn't come off, in fact she got more of those black spots all over her fur. At the rise of the next day, Mariam and Kamy were walking to a lake, Kamy was happy.
"Come on mom, let's hurry before someone take our place"
"Don't worry Kamy, our place is going to be there" she said to Kamy
They get there, Mariam just decides to lay down for a moment, while Kamy got to the edge of the lake, there she meet her friend, a young antelope name Shul.
"Hello Shul"
"ohh, hi Kamy"
"What are you doing?"Kamy asked him
"I'm just drinking" he answered her
Then a group of cub appears on the place, one of them say something
"Hey, hey, look it that, a small Zebra... oh wait, that's not a zebra, that's just Kamy" and everyone started laughing at her, then Kamy just answered them
"Why you don't leave me alone"
"Come on Kamy, I was just kidding"
"I already say this to all of you, don't say anything about my fur, you know that I hate that"
"yeah, yeah, we heard that many times" and then he told Kamy something
"Hey Kamy how about if we play something? ohh, I don't think that you can play"
"Why?"Kamy ask him
"because you're hurt, don't you know that you have a black eye" once againg he and the others started to laugh at her, and this time Kamy wasn't to take this anymore and she tackled him, he got up and tell her
"Why did you tackle me?"
"I told you that don't say anything about my fur"said angry, this time Kamy was very mad, she started to growl and roar at him, the other cub faced Kamy, both were facing each other with an angry look, and before this could end in a fight, the leader stood between them,
"What's going on here? well"
"She tackled me" the cub answered him
"Because he was making fun of me" Kamy said, but the leader didn't care who started, he wasn't going to allow any kind of trouble, Mariam went to see what was happening, the leader explained to her what just happen, Mariam apologize for what Kamy did, and both Kamy and Mariam walked back home, while they were walking, Kamy just stopped in front of a pond, she looked at the reflection of herself, she looks at the color of her ears and around her eye, Mariam see her, go where she is and ask her
"Is there's something that is making you sad"
Kamy look the black spots on her own paw, but don't say nothing, Mariam tell her
"Kamy, don't worry, you can tell me, I can help you to make feel better"
"Sometimes I wish that I look the same like everyone else, that way, I would have more respect" she said
"Kamy, you don't have to look the same to have everyone's respect, what is really important is the way you are inside,, not the outdide", Kamy just didn't get what her mom just told her, she tries to explain her
"look, What I'm trying to say is that the way you are is what identify you, it tells who you relly are"
"But, why they don't respect me for who I'm?" she said
"Because, thoses just care about the look of someone, they don't see the whole picture, and they can end with a big problem"
"Did you think that someone is going to care about who I'm actually?
"Yes, like me, you will see"
And after that talk they spend the rest of the afternon together
2nd Chapter Away From Home
At the rise of the sun, Kamy was playing in the grass, but still was wondering of what her mom told here last night, anyway, while she was playing, her friend appear
"hey Kamy, What happen yesterday?"
"I don't really want to talk about it"
"Hmm, ok then"
Then in that moment, the group of cubs that were in the lake appears, the leader of the group came closer to Kamy and say to her
"Don't even think that I already forgot what did you did to me yesterday"
Kamy respond him
"You know the reason why I did that so don't came here to complain"
Then the other cub just say
"Nah, Why I wasting my time with you, you aren't like us"
"Just because I look different?"
the other cub answer her
"Just look yourself, look at you fur, white with those black spots on it, that's so weird"
Kamy respond him
"Just because my fur doesn't look like yours, doesn't mean that you can treat me like that"
the other just say
"yeah, yeah, whatever you say"
In that moment, Kamy was starting to get really mad, her friend was trying to calm her down, but it was useless, suddenly, at the moment that she was about to tackle him, the mom of that cub step in to avoid the fight, then she tells to Kamy
"Don't even think about hurting my cub"
Then Mariam step in
"What is going on in here?"
Then the other mom respond her
"You cub was about to attack my cub"
The leader see the trouble that was happening, and go to put a stop
"That's enough, I'm not going to tolarate any kind of disturb on my pride"
Then the other lioness tells to Mariam
"I don't want you cub get near to my cub, you cub is becoming an menace"
But Mariam respond
"She is not a manace"
The leader make a big roar, and say furiously
"ENOUGH, I don't want any more argument"
and without any other argue, both lioness take their cubs, and go back to their dens. The night fall, Mariam was sleeping, but Kamy coudn't sleep well, she was still thinking about what happen that afternoon, Then Kamy stood up and walk toward a little pod, she watch her reflection, then, a little wave made by a falling leave erase her reflection on the water, Kamy just ask herself
"Who I'm suppose to be?, Do I belong in this place?"
Then out of nowhere, a lioness appear, and with a serious tone, ask Kamy
"What are you doing here?"
Kamy answer her nerviously
"Nothing....I was just..."
before Kamy could finnich what she was saying, the lioness tell her
"You don't suppose to be here"
Kamy ask her
"Oh, is this you den?"
the lioness respond her
"No, what I meant is that you don't suppose to be here, in this pride"
Kamy, confuse, ask her the why, then the lioness respond her
"Because you have cause too much trouble for all of us, even for you mom, if you haven't notice, you mom is getting all the blame, all because of you actions"
Kamy was getting sad of what she just said, then the lioness tell Kamy
"That's true, everything that I'm saying is true"
Kamy was about to start crying, and then say to her
"I don't want to be a trouble, I don't want"
The lioness at this point, suggest to Kamy an option
"The only way you can prevent it is by just, running, running away, away from here as far as possible and never try to come back"
Kamy didn't want to cause more trouble so she decide to take that option, Kamy ran away from home as far possible, she keep running, and running until she was out of view
After she ran for miles, Kamy enter into a jungle, tired, she decide to take a rest.
