A while later, Kapuki walked into the cave where Shujaa and Alitash were lying together quietly. The tawny lioness muttered something in Shujaa's ear, and the adolescent reluctantly exited the cave. Kapuki looked somberly at Alitash, as if waiting for the younger female to say something.

[Adofo]

Alitash: .......Are.....are you mad at me? ......I'm....I'm sorry, Kapuki!

[Iri]

"Oh, for the love of pit vipers, I will mangle the next lion or lioness who thinks that everyone's anger is about them," Kapuki snapped. "Stop apologizing. I'm sick of it. You might think it makes you look innocent, but it's irritating. I didn't even say anything."

Kapuki sighed, undoubtedly irritated. "Stop crying," she said exasperatedly. "What, is everything an emotional burden to you?"

"Ugh, this pride is filled with lions who are just like you," Kapuki said with disgust. "Would you stop whining about how terrible your life is so I can actually talk to you?"

"I'm not preparing to crush your trachea in your sleep," Kapuki said coldly. "So stop acting like every time someone approaches you they're about to do something horrific to you. The world does not revolve around you." She rolled her eyes, but instead moved on quickly, "It's about Shujaa. Do you really and truly care about her?"
