Enzi: Come on...let's go lay down for a bit.

[Iri]

"Sure," Neema agreed tiredly.

"Alitash?" Mardea said, stirring. It was still morning, but nearing sunhigh. She probably would have slept longer, but Chaltuu had plodded by the cave and barked for her to get up and "do something productive".

[Adofo]

Enzi cuddled next to his mate

Alitash: Yes mom?
She said sleepily

[Iri]

"Chaltuu's going to smack us out of our wits if we don't get up, so I suppose we avoid the smacking part," Mardea yawned, rising to her paws. "C'mon, Alitash."

[Adofo]

Alitash rose up and followed her mother
Alitash: Okay.

[Iri]

"What d'you want to do today?" Mardea said. "There isn't much to do..."

[Adofo]

Alitash: Just be with my mommy! That's all I want!

[Iri]

"Where are you two going?" Chaltuu demanded, skidding to a halt in front of them, her eyebrows knitted together in a fierce scowl.

[Adofo]

Alitash: We're going to go hunting.

[Iri]

Mardea, however, thrust her muzzle at Chaltuu aggressively, and, and the two were practically nose-to-nose. "Would you stop picking on us?" she growled. "You don't need to be bossing everyone around! You're not our leader, Chaltuu!"
