I looked at her and smiled. "I'm lucky that you got that trait from your father, then," I said.

I smiled and said, "Me too, I mean, who knew I'm more like my Mom than my Dad? But at least I have a part of him in me, right?"

"Yeah," I said. "It's just a natural thing for all children to get something from both parents. I look and act nore like myfather, according to my mom, except I have her hair color."

I looked at him and said, "Yeah, I bet your father was really handsome. Just like you!" I scooted closer to him and laid my head on his shoulder, wrapping an arm around his waist. "I bet our kids would look as handsome as you are, too. At least, one of the boys." I said, smilin, then closing my eyes.

"And I bet the girls will look as beautiful as you, and at least one of them will have your skills," I said.

I laughed, then said, "Yeah, I guess. You never know, right?"

"Yep. You never know," I said. I just hope one of our children has your talents at least. It would stink if they all took after me."

"Why would it stink? You're funny, kind, sweet and everything!" I said.

"I said your skills, Mel-Mel, not your characteristics," I said. "Being funny and sweet aren't skills."
