Huh. Sounds interesting, TPAM. Probably not my type of book, but interesting nonetheless. :)

I was just amazed by it, TPAM. It was so emotional. :)

That's mostly the reason why I like the current story I'm reading, TPAM - because of the emotional rollercoaster with the main pairing. :P

Did you actually like Mockingjay Part 1, TPAM?

One of the common criticisms that I heard from people about the film is that there isn't a lot of action, but I get the feeling that they weren't understanding the true core behind the third book/film (only part 1 so far). Mockingjay focuses more on political drama rather than action (for the most part) and you don't always need action for a movie to be good. People say that it's just "a whole bunch of talking" but what are you expecting for this story particularly? :/ Sure Deathly Hallows Part 1 had a bit more action that Mockingjay Part 1 did, but it wasn't a film that focused on politics and government. We're gonna get to the epic action scenes in Part 2.

Yeah, I enjoyed it, TPAM. It was a huge emotional rollercoaster for me. Honestly, if I was an easy crier, I would have been balling my eyes out (not literally, of course). :( And I completely agree with you 100% on all of that. This is the first one in the series that I like more than the book, honestly. I never really cared for the book. I've only read it twice. But I enjoyed the movie. I hope I'm able to buy it when it comes out. Or at least rent it. :D

I was not looking forward to seeing Peeta strangle Katniss in the medical room, TPAM. When I saw his face, I was like HOLY S**T! :horrified:

Oh, yeah, TPAM! It was extremely intense! I was even more like :-o when we saw him on that TV screen and everything. (My sister said afterwards "He must have had to lose a lot of weight for that". I had to tell her it was CGI. :P). But yeah. After seeing that, I understood why some OUAT fans didn't want a repeat of that in one episode where Kristoff is seeing the worst in Anna (sort of like Peeta with Katniss). :horrified: And then him at the end. :gasp:

I know, TPAM. Katniss' reflection on the window while Peeta's going crazy in the strapped bed was just giving me chills for a cliffhanger. :ocwap:

I know for a fact that when Part 2 comes out months from now, I'm gonna be on a crying-fest for a while. :cry2:
