Alitash: Only child.

[Iri]

"Hmm... so was I," Mardea replied with a small smile. "No sisters or brothers... that I know of anyway."

[Adofo]

Alitash: .....Do you.....ever feel lonely? Sorry if that's too personal!

[Iri]

"What exactly do you mean by 'lonely'?" Mardea said.

[Adofo]

Alitash: Like.....do you ever wish you had a family.....or maybe a mate?

[Iri]

"A family? Yes, certainly," Mardea said. "But a mate... no, not really. My life is not going to revolve around romance. Granted, that doesn't mean I won't ever fall in love, but that also doesn't mean I spend time wishing for a mate."

[Adofo]

Alitash: Oh. .......Well......maybe.....I could be like......your family?

[Iri]

"How, exactly?" Mardea said tersely.

[Adofo]

Alitash: Maybe we could be sisters....or.....maybe.......your daughter?
She said shyly

Mardea looked shocked at Alitash's shy offer. It felt absurd that someone would ask if they could be her child- adopted child, granted, but her daughter nonetheless.
