The new danger in the land

Tua: Yeah! Maybe! But you'll always be my little princess! .......say uhh.....how would you feel about......me and mommy having another litter after this one?

Abi's expression lit up. "Are you going to?"

Tua: Well.......I'd like too......but......your mother isn't so much up to the idea. I have a feeling that she isn't 100% set on not having more after this one but.......whenever I'm the one to bring it up......I upset her. I really wish to have more cubs.......But I don't want to upset your mother. I don't even deserve to have her as my mate. So i should be grateful that she would even consider having my cubs in the first place.

"Oh, don't say that, daddy!" said Abi, licking the lion's cheek. She then giggled. "Mom loves you!"

Tua: Yeah....I know! But....to me.....your mother is like.....greater than all the great Kings! Sorry Dad! But....really the only way I could see mommy deciding to have more cubs is if you or your siblings were to talk to her. Other than that.....there's a greater chance of me getting pregnant!

"Won't it just upset her even more if she finds out you asked us to do that?" asked his daughter.

Tua: Yeah....but I could never ask you to do that anyways. .....I just have to accept that...this will be the last one.

Abi smiled. "But that's not bad, is it?"

Tua: No! Not at all! .....But a guy can dream...
