YAY. First drawing with my sister's tablet. <3

Korongo with bright digital colors. c; Such a fun mane style. He'll have a full ref sheet eventually, with his adult looks.

Name Meaning:
"roan antelope" in Swahili.

Orientation:
Heterosexual.

Relationships:
Waridi (mother)

Appearance:
Korongo has a sleek, lean build, and is made for speed rather than strength. He's got short fur, which is a light tawny brown with lighter stomach, paws, muzzle, and chest. Has darker upper eye shading and lighter lower eye shading, and an off-white mane and tail tuft. His mane splits off from a small little tuft forwards to a large ruff going backwards. He has two darker brown stripes down his rump, perpendicular to his spine. His eyes are a leaf green color.

Personality:
Cheery, playful, flirty, arrogant, quick-witted, easily aggravated, mischievous.

History:
Raised by a small nomadic pride. His mother, a lioness named Waridi, bore him and another female cub, but she passed away days after the birth, not long enough for a name to be given. The prdie had a minor tradition that cubs were not named until they were around a month old, where it was mostly ensured that they would live (not considering unpredictable outside threats). Korongo gained his name by his attentiveness to prey, especially the roan antelope herd that lived close to where the pride was currently resting. There was only two other cubs in the pride at that point, littermates, and Korongo easily became fast friends.

He grew up quickly, not minding the comstantly-moving way of life. Waridi taught him how to defend himself. The whole group was quite skilled in battle, as a safety point. When Korongo was over a year old a terrible storm swept through the lands the pride was resting in. It caused a massive flood. Korongo ende up washed away, completely separated by the time he came to. He started a rogue's lifestyle, wandering on his own.
