Cole: I'll take your worst! As long as Zekyu's safe.

(I would say it's pretty adventurous. xDDD This is an alternate universe of the comic about Zekyu's life that my boyfriend and I are writing together.)

"Sold." Zavok rose to his paws, creeping forward slowly. He unsheathed his claws, before lunging. Cole would be paralyzed by flames, leaving him a sitting duck to Zavok's strikes. Zekyu was watching in horror. As soon as Zavok was done, Cole would have all of his energy sucked out of him and he wouldn't even be able to stand.

(Can we just timeskip to when Zekyu dies? xD I don't want to have another battle.)

[Adofo]

(........fine.)

Cole: .......Zekyu......I'm sorry......for everything. ....For loving you.......for making you bare my cubs.......for me existing......I know you hate my guts.......and probably never want to see me again. ........I.......I understand if you want to leave me.........I never deserved you anyway.......
Cole let out a single tear. But instead of water, it was blood.

(If you don't want to read through all the details of her death then just read the last three sentences.)

Zekyu frowned, nuzzling him. "I love you, Cole. I just got mad. It's okay. You didn't have to lie to my father about anything." As Zekyu leaned forward to nuzzle him, Zor and Zazz pushed them back with their horns.

About four years later, Zekyu and Cole had been free for a while. Zekyu found out about Viola, Isabelle became a madwoman goddess, blah blah blah all that B.S. happened. Zekyu was laying in the same den that this roleplay started in; hers. She was laying in the same place, facing the same direction, and her thoughts had the same theme; death. Not the death of anyone, but the death of her. A rose withered it's way to the end; the nine year old lioness, indeed, decided that she had enough. Unsheathing her claws, she used one claw to slice her neck open, but only deep enough to draw blood. She forced her lungs to stop, and even though her airways screamed for oxygen she forced herself not to breathe. Zekyu reflected over her adult life; her cubhood wasn't good enough to reflect on. She had an amazing territory, great cubs, and finally someone who loved her with all of his heart. Worth the pain? Yes. Smiling for the last time in her treacherous life, Zekyu closed her eyes, never to open them again.

[Adofo]

(Blood)

Cole: Zekyu? ZEKYU!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!
He ran to her side with blood tears dripping from his eyes
Cole: Baby no! ....Please don't leave me! I need you! I more than want you! I need you! You're my everything!
A few hours past and Cole still wept over her body. Then suddenly he heard a whisper in his ear.
Jax: ...Son...
Cole: .......Dad?
Jax: Yes son........I am here. This is the one? Your soul mate?
Cole: .........Yes.
Jax: ......I have been waiting for this for a very long time. I can bring her back.....she will be a demon again. And like you, her power can't be stolen. ......But I will need your help.
Cole: Anything!!! Anything!!!!!
About an hour later, Cole finished drawing on the ground in his blood. It was massive and highly detailed. as Cole put the last dot on, it started glowing. Slowly from the outer ring, the light from the blood drained into Zekyu's body. When all of it entered her body, the markings faded away. Cole approached his mate
Jax: She will be fine. And son.....I love you!
Cole: I love you too, Dad!
Jax: We will meet again...
Cole looked down at his mate a saw her slowly turning into her old demon looking self.
Cole: Ze-.....zekyu?!
He smiled as he saw her eyes starting to twitch

[Kipekee]

Flames suddenly engulfed her, and a hauntingly familiar purr echoed off the cave. "I think I'll just take this little soul to hell with me, where she was born, and where she belongs. She has reconciled with her daddy, haven't you, Zekky?"
Zekyu's voice rang in Cole's ears. "Yes. Cole, you don't have to bring me back. Me and my parents are finally at peace. I should've done this earlier. Cole, listen... I did this on purpose. Yes, I killed myself, but I have been suicidal for almost my entire life. And remember, you have Viola. Forget everything I said about being stuck between heaven and earth... I should have remembered that there was one realm I could go to."
Zekyu emerged from the fire, her eyes glowing white. "I am still with you, my love. I am still in your heart, and the memories we share are still in your mind. The longer you are without me, the more you will see me in the kids. We will see each other again, some day. I promise. And Cole...never forget that I love you."
She looked back to the fire. "Come on, father, let's go home."
"Whenever you're ready, my little girl." With one last loving glance over her shoulder, Zekyu stepped into the flames. The fire lifted and formed into a phoenix, nodding to Cole before flying away peacefully.
"...dad?" A brownish male poked Cole in the rear with his claw. "Is mom...dead?" It was Famiiy. "What happen? Should I tell Persephone? Summon Isabelle and tell her?"

Cole: No son........I'm bringing mommy back. Famiiy.....go outside. I don't want you to see this.
Cole lowered his head and the whole sky turned black. It was next to total darkness but then out of thin air, the fire phoenix came back, but it was in reverse.
Cole: Zekyu! I can't live without you! I WON'T!!!!!!! I CAN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He managed to pull them back down so he could look at both of them face to face.
Cole: I won't let you go! .....Please.....please.....I need you! You don't understand how much I love you! I made a deal that not even you father can change. If we can't be together...............then everything in existence......mortals.......souls.....angels.......demons........even you Zavok.......... will cease to exist......forever. I made the ultimate bargain. This is way above even you, Zavok. This you can't change! No matter what you do! You can't exist if there is no more existence at all. I know that seems like a stupid bargain..........but I did it only for my pure love for you! I didn't want you to be forced to stay........that was never my intent..........but it was the only way. Zekyu..........
He slowly forced his head through the roaring flames and nuzzled his beloved.
Cole: .........I'm not asking this of you for the universe......for the cubs.....not even for me.......this is all for you! ..........Zekyu............please stay! Please......I can't be without you........you're my one true love.............the whole thing with Viola.......I swear it wasn't me! YOU are the only one in my heart! ..........Please.........

(I am literally sobbinglike crazy right now. im getting snot and tears all over my gauze)

Zekyu pulled away. "I'm already dead, Cole. You know what they say, you only live once. And I have lived. Like I just said, I am still with you. If you want I can walk in your dreams, visit you in hallucinations, anything you want. You don't see me because you choose not to." She snuggled in her father's flames, quite comfortable. She felt like a baby being rocked back in forth in a crib, because she had a demon parent and she was born of fire inside of her mother's womb. "You know what my name means? Red roses. When you see red roses or even just red flowers, know that I am with you in that moment and in all moments." She placed a paw on Cole's chest, lifting the bargain and removing all of the arguments he had with Zekyu and all the bad memories, replacing them with good memories and even some things that didn't even happen. "My aunt Zeena always told me that roses do not just die, they withered their way to the end. I have been withering for a long time now, and a withered flower cannot survive long without water. I was parched for too long."
A little white and red cub appeared at Cole's paws.
"I will reincarnate into this cub. Raise her, and know that she is me. I just have one request; name her Kichina. Kichina Zekyu; Chinese Red Roses."
The phoenix flew up into the sky and disappeared into the stars. Kichina mewled, searching for warmth and eventually finding it in Cole's paws.

[Adofo]

Cole: .........NO! I CAN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cole started sending out waves of energy. But it wasn't his doing. It was existence coming to an end. With what little strength he had left, he made a hand of complete darkness and pulled them back down.
Cole: ZEK-ZEKYU.........THERE IS NO WAY AROUND THIS!!! THERE IS NO LOOP HOLE!!! NO GIVE AND TAKE!!!! NOTHING!!!!!!! YOU.........HAVE.......
a big black hole started forming from Cole's chest. It was blacker than anything even Zavok had ever seen. It was growing fast.
Cole: .........TO..........GET.............BACK..........IN...........YOUR.............................BODY!!!!!!!!!!
With his very last bit of strength and power he restored Zeyku's demon body.
Cole: ONCE.......I'M GONE............IT'S TOO LATE! FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!
In place of Cole's body was a black silhouette. The black hole was taking his body first. Once Cole's body was completely gone, existence will end. The only thing left was half of his head.
Cole: ZEYKU!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soon only his left eye is still intact. But with only that, she could see all the pleading from Cole to get back into her old body.
