The new danger in the land

"Oh..." That actually made Gakuru feel a little bad. "I think... I should talk to him..." He sighed in frustration. "I'm not used to this sort of thing!"

Zuni: I hope I didn't upset you! But.....all he really wants....is his little brother.

"This whole 'I love you' thing is just weird..." said his uncle with a sigh.

[Adofo]

Zuni: Why? It's nothing to be ashamed of. I mean.....even when you're a newborn.....you still feel love. And from what Grandma and Grandpa said.....you loved him just as much as he loved you! Age can do a lot of things.....but love is only affected by decision.....not time.

"Then how come I don't remember him or our parents at all?" asked Gakuru in annoyance. "How can anyone forget something like this?"

Zuni: ...Grandma said you were only two weeks old. The day before you had just opened your eyes. ANd dad's eyes opened a few days earlier..........I guess he was just lucky to dig up old memories. I know this may be hard for you to admit.....but I know some where deep down......you love him too. If you didn't.....you would have killed him anyways. I hope you two will grow close....like you were supposed too.

Gakuru blinked a few times. Did Zuni have a point? He really has been there for a week already without making any progress in, well, taking over the pride... "T-Thanks..."

Zuni: You're welcome! ...Well...I'm gonna head back for a nap.
He snuggled his head into his uncles shoulder before stepping away.
Zuni: Thanks for being with me, Uncle Gakuru! Love you!
The lion made his way back to his home. As he left, Branz came out from behind some rocks.
Branz: Hey, Gakuru! Is it time?! Are we ready to attack?!!

Gakuru was a little surprised to see Branz all of a sudden. "Uh... No, not yet." He then frowned. "Don't be a fool. You can't just attack an entire pride."

Branz: Don't think i didn't see all of that! From what I saw...you were doing more than just earning trust! .....It looked like you were going a little soft! Were you?!!
