Myrrh nodded. "I love my family too."

Adofo: And hey...I know you really like her and you like protecting her.....so I'd like to ask you.....if you would like to be my baby's official bodyguard?

[Iri]

"That would be wonderful," Myrrh said gratefully. "Do you mean it? I mean, are you allowed to authorize that?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: I'm the Vice King...and her father. So yeah. .....Will you do it? Will you promise me that you'll always protect my precious little angel?

[Iri]

"Why wouldn't I?" Myrrh said.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Well then....you are now Ekanem's official bodyguard! I know you'll do a great job!

[Iri]

"Thanks," Myrrh said gratefully. She curled up beside Ekanem.

Adofo gave his daughter one final kiss goodnight and went to his spot to get some sleep himself

Ekanem had grown- three years had passed, and as one could assume, she was ten. She still had the features of a child, the round face and larger eyes, but had grown much taller.
