"So would I," Christen broke in.
Ekanem frowned. "All right," she relented finally. "Fine." She was a bit curious as to why there was never a female teaching her any battle or defense techniques.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Sweetie...please don't be mad! I'm doing this to help you! Plus.....I was hoping.....that this could bring us closer together.

[Iri]

"I'm not mad," Ekanem said. She walked forward and embraced her father affectionately. "Daddy, there's been something bothering me."

[Adofo]

Adofo: What is it, baby?

[Iri]

Ekanem hesitated before going on. "Why does no girl ever help out much with fighting? Ever? Are..." She paused again. "Are the lionesses not good enough?" she fretted quietly.

[Adofo]

Adofo: No no no! No baby! Its just....well for one thing, you're human. You can't really do the same things lions can.....well I can but I've had tons of time to practice. But another thing, your Uncle Simba wants to spend time with you too! But if you want, I can get Aunt Nala to join us!

[Iri]

"Considering that Nala usually beat us wrestling matches or pinned us when we were cubs," Simba reminded his brother, "it might be a good idea."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Beat and pinned YOU! Only a handful of times did she get me! And she can still take you on with little effort!
He grined evilly

[Iri]

"Actually," Nala reminded him playfully as she stepped towards where Adofo and Simba were explaining to Ekanem, "I did manage to beat you multiple times. Anyways," she continued before Adofo could argue, "I'll gladly help you train."
