Nuru: .....I'm sorry......things have been hard for me lately like with me and Siari...and I............whenever I want to do things with you lately.....you say you're too tired or you just want it to be with you and Zuni......you cast me aside....when me and Siari first started out.....when you told me what I was doing to you....I did everything I could to spend time with you......now you just want it to be you and him.....maybe this is what I deserve for ignoring you back then...

Mufasa was quiet for a few seconds. "I... I'm sorry..." he said. "I didn't even realize I was neglecting you like this..." He lowered his head in shame. "If you'd have told me sooner- no, this is my fault, not yours." He sighed. "Tell you what. How about we spend some time together, just me and my favorite brother?" He smiled a small smile. "You're spending less time with Siari anyway now that she's... you know... So, what do you say?"

"But I love him..." said Siari as she rested her head down on her paws with a gloomy expression on her face.

Nuru: .......Favorite.....brother? .........Do you really mean it?!

Vitani: Baby, I'm sorry! I wish I was better help but.....to be honest.....most lionesses do get married at about your age. Your cousin Kiara married my brother not much older than you are.....

Mufasa nodded. "Is that a yes?" he asked, grinning.

Siari sighed. "They were young adults. Nuru and I are adolescents..."

(Well I was thinking she's getting close to being an adult cuz she's older and Nuru is in the middle of his teens. But that's why I said "not much older" so older.)

Nuru wiped the tears from his eyes and sat on his butt on dry land.
Nuru: Well....if you gave your favorite person in the whole world a giant hug.

Vitani: I know....but....you're almost a young adult yourself....and Nuru is a bit younger than you so....he has a while longer to wait than you do.
